One year ago today, the first Corvette ZR1 "Blue Devil" was lost to a sinkhole in the National Corvette Museum. Today it will be returned to where it once almost died. Today we look back on its resurrection and recovery. And this silly video I made.

I'm kind of surprised that they didn't just fill it with C3s.

That car is a survivor, in the true sense of the word. It fell into the pits of hell. Laughed in the devils face. Came out of the hole and drove away.

Corvette Sinkhole 2014: NEVER FORGET.
Even the earth has assholes that consume Corvettes. This really should have happened to BMW.
These cars don't run.

Great video. I will watch fewer than five videos today, but yours was the first. Quality.
Just need to add "Dramatic Reenactment Based on Real Events" etc.

HA! Would've paid to watch them fill it with chopped up Prius bits.
